Fox Learning Systems - Education for Families

At Fox Learning Systems, we are committed to providing consumer education for families with aging parents. Studies show that providing care from home, for as long as possible, is the most affordable and dependable care for aging relatives.

Fox Learning Systems has developed three separate series of online learning curriculums to provide expert and meaningful, content, material and demonstrations to the family caregiver. Each series is published through various media channels to reach the broadest amount of potential caregivers, volunteers and consumers.

Giving Care for Parents

In cooperation with the National Institute on Aging, Fox Learning Systems developed a comprehensive consumer education site for families with aging parents. A series of 116 separate topics address the complex issues of elder care in a way that is accessible to consumers. Information is provided on:

Since January 2008, Giving Care for Parents has been offered nationally through the national drug store chain, Rite Aid. This award-winning, national caregiver campaign is a valuable resource tool for any caregiver struggling with the day-to-day issues of caring for their elderly loved ones.

Keys to Caring™

Keys to Caring™ is an award-winning series of online video lessons for the family caregiver. Each lesson addresses a specific need and provides content that is delivered by experts in geriatric medicine. The duration of each online lesson is only a few minutes – approximately the time of a news segment – and provides exact, detailed information on:

Care for Diabetics
Includes topics such as Giving an Insulin Shot, Diet and Diabetes, and Excercise and Diabetes.
Care for Cancer Patients
Includes topics such as Impact of Chemotherapy, Cancer and Hospice, and Managing Medications.
Care for Stroke Victims
