What to Do with Quality Video Produced by Fox Learning Systems

Many companies want to use their video on their website as an effective method to get their message across to their customers. But how do you get a video onto your website after it’s completed? There are actually two methods to add video content to your website.

ONLINE VIDEO EMBEDDING

Since YouTube is the most widely used free platform, it is the prime example of a quick and cheap way to embed video.

Keep in mind while using YouTube, set your administration settings for Private (only url link)  or Public (searchable on Google and YouTube).

Also, YouTube embedding like any other embed requires Author, Contributor, or Administrative access to the publishing interface on your website, or direct access to the html files.

SELF-HOSTED EMBEDDING

The second method is known as in-house embedding or self-hosted cloud video.  A company with a web development team and enough storage space and bandwidth on your own server cloud, can customize, host, and distribute video to customers without using a costly or underwhelming services.  This method will not only give you more options that high-end services give you such as branding continuation, control over the way the video is played, and the ability to track/analyze metrics, but also it will allow you to control how your customers will see your video one-hundred percent of the time.  If you are already paying to host your website, you may want to consider hosting the video too!
